A weekly schedule with per-day service periods, overnight windows, and one-off closures. If a change would strand a booking you've already taken, Maida refuses the change and shows you exactly which bookings — instead of silently orphaning them.

Confirmation email to the guest and to you, a calendar invite (.ics) attached, and reminders before service — every time rendered in your restaurant's timezone, not the reader's.
Billing you control
Plan changes show the prorated amount before you confirm. Downgrades take effect at renewal instead of cutting capacity mid-cycle. Invoice history, cancel and resume — all self-serve.

Questions owners ask
How long does setup take?
Four short steps: restaurant details, tables, service hours, review. Most owners are taking bookings the same day; everything can be changed later.
What happens when the trial ends?
You pick a plan. The trial is 14 days with Pro features at Starter volume (200 reservations), so you can evaluate everything that matters before you pay for capacity.
Do you take a cut of my bookings?
No. A flat monthly subscription, never a per-cover commission. What the table earns is yours.
Can two guests end up on the same table?
No. Overlapping holds on a table are rejected by the database itself, not by a check the app might skip.
What if I change my opening hours after taking bookings?
Maida checks first. If a schedule or closure change would leave existing bookings outside your hours, it refuses the change and shows you exactly which ones, so you decide what happens to them.
Which timezone are times shown in?
Always the restaurant's. On screen, in confirmations, in reminders, and in the calendar invite — regardless of where the guest is reading them.
Can I run more than one restaurant?
Yes. Starter covers one; Pro covers up to five; Premium is unlimited.
Can I change or cancel my plan?
Any time. Upgrades are prorated and shown before you confirm; downgrades take effect at your next renewal; cancelling keeps you running to the end of the period you've paid for.
Is it free for diners?
Yes. Diners never pay a booking fee.
What does "Maida" mean?
It's Arabic for table — the one thing every good meal starts with.
